I am a military veteran with over 15 years of professional experience and a background in Network Engineering,
Electronics, Manufacturing, Supply Chain support, Warehouse, Project Management and Programming.
I specialize in all things IT related with a focus primarily on project management,
network engineering, process automation & data analytics.

About Me

I was born and raised in Texas but now I live in Nevada where I work as an
IT Service Delivery, Senior Specialist at Emerson Electric for a manufacturing plant.

I have a passion for programming and learning about new technologies for all industries that would benefit/aide in providing efficiency, safety and operational improvements in how the business functions or operates day to day.

I earned my Associates of Science in Computer Science degree (2013-2017) from Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno, Nevada.

I also attended the University of Nevada-Reno for my Bachelors of Science in Computer Science where I worked from 2016 to 2018 at the Disability Resource Center in the Alternative Media department.

  • Expert in converting forms and digital text into accessible formats such as Microsoft Word & Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Operational experience in process improvements and implementing automation wherever possible.

  • Ability to step in and quickly learn any role or task given to support business initiatives.
  • Enjoy mentoring & managing others with the focus not always being about KPIs but also the ability for employees to improve/learn new skills that benefit the business.
  • In the future, I hope to improve my skills in areas such as LAN & WAN configuring and knowledge in ERP systems.
  • I also plan to improve my programming skills by starting a SAAS business in the near future.

IT Service Delivery, Senior Specialist (salaried)
Working as the sole IT PoC for a Manufacturing Plant in Nevada, supporting over 80 employees onsite, with dozens of on-going projects and multiple Emerson sites along the coast of California. This position is the equivalent of an IT Manager with direct financial and managerial roles & responsibilities for the plant.

Gap Explanation: I went back to college over the course of 6 years (2013 - 2019) and completing my associates degree at a community college and attending a university for 3 years while working at the University of Nevada-Reno as an Alternative Media Technician/IT Consultant at the Disability Resource Center.
